Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a rental?
Everything happens online. Choose your equipment, select your dates on the calendar (it shows real-time availability), choose pickup or delivery, sign/check the rental terms/agreement digitally, and pay — all in one checkout. No phone call is required.

Can I pick up equipment myself, or do you deliver?
Both. Self-serve pickup is available at our Sun Valley location using an access code sent to you before your rental begins. If you'd rather not pick up, we offer Curbside Delivery & Pickup (Round Trip) for a fee based on distance.

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, all rentals have a 2-day minimum.

Do rates get cheaper the longer I rent?
Yes. The first 3 days are billed at the full daily rate, and every additional day after that is 50% off. The discount calculates automatically in your cart based on the dates you select — no code needed.

Can I get an extra discount for booking online?
Yes — use code ALPINE5 at checkout to save 5%. This discount is only available for online orders.

What if I need to extend my rental?
Contact us before your scheduled return date to check availability and extend your booking. Extensions aren't guaranteed if another customer has already reserved the equipment for the days right after yours, so the earlier you reach out, the better.

What happens if I return equipment late?
A grace period applies after your scheduled return time. After that, a late fee applies per day or partial day, which may be deducted from your security deposit. Returning equipment late can also affect other customers' reservations, so please contact us as soon as possible if you're running behind.

How does the security deposit work?
A refundable deposit is authorized (not charged) on your card at checkout. It's released once your equipment is returned, inspected, and confirmed clean and undamaged. If there's a late fee, cleaning charge, or damage cost, it's deducted from the deposit before the remainder is released.

What condition does equipment need to be returned in?
Equipment should be returned clean, similar to a rental car. Please wipe down the exterior, and if your unit has a filter compartment, remove and dispose of any used filters before returning — don't leave them inside.

Can I rent this equipment for a mold, asbestos, or lead job?
We don't rent equipment for jobs involving asbestos or lead. Our equipment is well suited for mold remediation jobs that don't involve these materials.

Will running this equipment guarantee I pass an air quality or clearance test?
No. Our equipment improves air quality, but passing a clearance test requires a documented protocol, proper containment, and surface cleanup, typically performed by a certified remediation professional. We rent equipment — we don't perform remediation and can't guarantee test results.

What if equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen during my rental?
You're responsible for the equipment from pickup until it's confirmed returned. Damage beyond normal wear and tear, or a lost/stolen unit, will be billed at repair or replacement cost, less whatever your security deposit covers.
